Anyone select the “Carpet Delete “ option on any of the premium interiors (Lariat or better)? Does it look alright? Does there have any louder road noise from less sound deadening from the carpet? Would you do it again?

This same question popped into my head while I was playing with the build tool last night, I will be interested to see what the responses are!

The carpet is so thin it offers nothing for noise. Both floor coverings come with jute padding.
Check out this post. There are some great photos of the carpet delete in the first couple of posts. Also, while my XLT may not be "premium," deleting the carpet was one of the first things I wanted to have done on mine. I am still going to throw some Husky X Act Contour liners in the floor boards though just to make cleaning them easier...
ordered my 2022 lariat with carpet delete. Should not be a problem. It was suppose to deliver today, according to ford tracking, but hasn't shown up yet. I will let you know.
I ordered my 2017 with the carpet delete, and my 2022 with the carpet delete. Cleaning the floors is a lot easier without the carpet. I don't think it causes any noise issues, our Focus gets more road noise inside than truck does.
Ordered my 20 with the carpet delete. Best. Thing. Ever. Its funny, people realize there is no carpet and say "You can do that?" and think its great. No noticeable difference for noise, I would hands down do it again.
I ordered carpet delete and the bench seat on a lariat. I like Iit so far with no regrets. Don't notice any extra noise but I would have to drive one with carpet side by side to say for sure. I always put in rubber floor mats anyway and have a dog that sheds so this is better for me. I can blow it out with an air compressor pretty easily.
I have husky floor mats on order for the front to minimize wear.
Another vote for carpet delete. If your truck doesn’t get dirty on the inside it probably won’t matter. Mine does. They look just fine without carpet. Still have the attachment points for floor mats if you choose to add some.
