My 2007 f350 harley davidson edition isn't getting enough preasure for it to engage in any gears it's been this way for over a month changed fluid and both filters there was a lot of fine metal stuck to the magnet no big pieces. Started the truck and it was trying to move but wouldnt move so I pulled the inline filter witch was plugged allready cleaned it and refilled fluid the truck started to move at about 3000 rpm any help or thoughts would b greatly appricated

When you changed the filter in the pan, did you remove the old filter seal that was prolly stuck inside of the case? Sounds like she's sucking air. B.

Sorry. See the code in the title. Hopefully Mark K. will be along shortly. I think there would be other codes accompanying the PO 700.

Yes, where the filter tub goes into the transmission. The old seal almost always sticks inside of the case. If you don't remove it, you are trying to stack seals. That can cause issues. B.

You should check for any DTCs that exist. Can help you greatly in pinpointing the trouble spots.

never mind. I didn’t see the DTC in the header.

Yeah, the DTC he listed, from my quick research, is a general code that basically says something is wrong with me. He SHOULD have a second, at minimum, DTC that will be pointing to a more specific issue within the transmission. But one is not listed. So your question is valid xcrsp440. B.

I don't know what to do about having two threads going so I will answer here. You did not say what you are pulling codes with. Can you post that? Not all methods are equal. Your code is a general trouble code that just says something is wrong from the little reading I did. Not greatly helpful.

I have read here that the SCT is not the best at reading codes. An inexpensive tool to add to your arsenal would be Forscan/ Forscan Lite paired with and OBD dongle. Forscan can be downloaded to a laptop for the full version and Forscan Lite(which is almost as good) can be used with a smartphone. Both are less than $10? Whichever smartphone you have( if you do have one) will determine which OBD dongle to buy. With my I Phone I needed to get a wifi enabled dongle. I believe Androids use Bluetooth-I may have those reversed though. You will have a capable code puller for cheap if you go this route.
