Yet another 4x4 swap thread
So, I have a 1995 f250 with a 4.9L and it's 2wd. Already have the 4x4 ZF5 and tcase installed and am curious if anyone has taken the Dana 44 TTB from a F150 and swapped it into a 2WD f250. Not worried about weight/towing rating, all I want is 4wd. before anyone says sell it and buy 4x4, this is the cleanest truck I've seen and it only have alil over 100x miles and I love the 4.9l. I've heard mixed reviews on the possibility of this swap.

I've never done it, but far as I know, you should be able to, the radius arm brackets should be in the same place 4wd or 2wd, I don't know if the pivot brackets are bolted/riveted in the same location on them, but I would suspect they are. The track width on a 2wd vs 4wd doesn't change, AFAIK.

I've seen that some people say you can't, but I've seen other people say they have, so assuming the people who say you can't haven't tried, I'm inclined to believe the people who say they have done it...
