What is a Hemi?

With out bashing and name calling, what is a hemi?

Its the hemispherical shape of the heads that make a hemi a hemi. It has a dome like shape to it that allows the intake and exhaust process to flow much better than a conventional head, thus producing more power than a normal engine. Hope that helps, and that was a good question, no one should bash it.
