The BMS is not the same as the vehicles under 8500GVW that are subject to CAFE restrictions. These trucks do have BMS and it is not talked about in the manual because it is not a repair as it's all software based and done through the BCM.
The BMS system is different then the F-150 and other vehicles as these trucks are not subject to CAFE restrictions. The BMS is shown on the forscan spreadsheet.
All of the Forscan stuff you posted means nothing if the electronics to actually implement BMS are not present. BMS has nothing to do with CAFE directly. It has everything to do with the Auto Start / Stop engine controls on cars and light trucks. There is no BMS hardware in 2017 - 2019 Super Duty trucks. Just the fact that the batteries are wired directly in parallel should make that obvious. Go ahead and look through the wiring book. I have.

My offline battery chargers have settings for AGM vs Flooded vs Lithium…I’d think this could be similar. Might change charging settings or how it interprets rest voltage vs state of charge. But the differences are minimal and a traditional charger works fine with AGM. I can’t imagine it making any real world difference.
The BMS module reset will reset the battery age to zero. Might as well do it while you are there.
The bluetooth function on my laptop was down for awhile so I tried an alternative reset procedure. 5 flashes of the high beams, 3 presses of the brake pedal, something like that. I really don't know what it did other than making the bat light flash a couple times.
The Bluetooth started working on the laptop so I connected to Forscan and now have some questions. Where can the battery life be found? Just to verify the reset. Also, where are you making the change to AGM? Bellow is what I am seeing in the BCM.
Second replacement set from ford installed in January 2021 at 35k miles. Removed last week at 48k. Installed in my 2019 6.7. Changed one at a time. No codes no resests no problems. Drove 600mi last week all good
Is die electric grease the proper product to apply to the terminals when replacing batteries or something else?
That is what many use. I use a light coat of Vaseline instead. Not sure if anything is really necessary when using AGM batteries, the only time I have ever had any corrosion was with non AGM batteries.
What *should* change between a lead and a AGM battery is the charging profile, the AGM will work better getting a higher voltage charging up and floating. This is most important when you have a “deep discharge” AGM battery but it’s also useful for normal car batteries. I guess that the Forscan adjustment will change the profile…
