3v piston question same as 2v??
Hi I haven't posted on this yet but I cant seem to find much on pistons for these things so where I'm at is I have a 99 non pi v10 that I blew up bottom end is done but I've had a 3v v10 from an old truck laying around for a while so I decided that I'd get pi heads and put them on the 3v block and put that in but I am having problems on whether the piston is the same because I'm not starting with a pi block that I can compare to the 3v I read on an older post that someone did it and the piston comes up higher and raises compression but I just want some confirmation on of that is the case it's a 2005 3v block I'm working with was pulled at 42k for a 12v swap any help would be much appreciated
