Wire Harness / swapping out?

So I have 2 issues going on:
1. windshield washer fluid isnt working, I have swapped out the pump and the turn signal stalk. sometimes it works but mostly it doesnt. the windshield wipers work fine.
2. the door ajar light is always on. I have swapped out the door lock mechanisms, and had a Ford dealer check it out. no resolve. Ford said probably a broken wire but they had no idea where it would be.

So, I am thinking should I replace the wire harness or parts of the wire harness? How hard is this? Plug and play or a real pain in the a$$?

I'm at a loss and don't know what to do next...

2002 F250, eh...you should mention that in the post.

My 2001 had electrical gremlins. The windshield leaked and water got in the GEM module and caused the door issue and others you described.

I would also check your battery connectors... especially the grounds.

I think I fixed the windshield washer fluid... I believe there was a clog in the rubber hose. I disconnected it about 1/2 way up and blew it out...

Bump for attention... Windshield washer fluid still not working... it will work randomly, about 1 out of 20 times... not good... must be a wire harness thing or module somewhere..

For your number two, if you havent fixed yet, try opening all doors and see if the door open light goes away. Mine was programmed backwards where open was closed and closed was open. I will look into the washer circuit...

Reviewing the schematics it leads me to windshield wiper motor. This contains the relay that turns on the windshield washer pump and the microprocessor that turns on said relay. ..
