The Sync 3 commands are handled by Android Auto while connected. Ford also ditched Microsoft in 2015 with the Sync2 system. As For Ford and
Google that is already in play for the next 6 years since February. It is for the cloud connectivity and AI features to start and will probably evolve over time.
