What is the best location FRONT to BACK of running board steps 1955 F-100--- Flush with front or step back to first rib-- Thanks

Get in and out of your truck a few times while someone else watches. Do it as naturally as you can. If you try to watch yourself it might effect where you step.

Put it there.

Just forward or spilt the difference where the front of the bench seat is. Thats where you will want to step and pivot to spin your foot as you slide into the truck and sit down.
