I've found that adapting other readily available wiper motors to early vehicles usually are not difficult until it's time to work out the linkage. Seems the problem I always have is getting the length exactly correct. Currently the non-F100 project I'm working on is to the linkage stage, with the motor mounted and wired. I'm thinking about building some shock absorbing into the linkage this time by cutting a short (2-3") section out of the linkage arm and replacing the section with a spring of the proper size and "stiffness".
Maybe not these exact springs but similar. What do you fabricators think?
