Solar charge time may vary depending on weather conditions and geographic location. We recommend if you park in a garage or carport that you can mount a high watt shop light 1ft. over the cab lights to charge them as desired.

Ha..!! And without even reading that, that is exactly what I was thinking, adding a light above....
After the Excursion and a few other things showed up, I had a metal one built to fit them.
Sorry for the thread de-rail...is that a bedliner type product on your cladding and where’s the rear chrome fender trim homie?!? Hah
I’m about to remove my tan cladding and coat it with Charcoal tinted U-Pol bedliner or DuraBak.

The vehicle and the garage are great! Unfortunately where I’m at here in California I don’t have that luxury LOL!
At one point I was up in Alaska for a while. But if I turned on the light underneath the carport the only thing that would get charged would be about 1 million bugs LOL! They would come from miles around! I think for me I am going to stick with the kind that get mounted.

I just noticed that, the cladding is original and factory painted, the chrome trims were modified, the PO had tossed the claddings that intersected the chrome trim . I found new cladding (which I like) and cut the chrome back so the cladding would work.

If I had it to do again, I would buy the visor with the flush lights incorporated. I found that visor 4 or 5 years ago on Craigslist 2 hours away, an in the box NOS Lund.

I have to ask do you have a lighted visor on your truck? Not sure if it is just the picture or not but it almost looks like one?
I added them to mine took about 6 hours. I made a template off the dually that has them. The outer two are turned out a little and I wanted it to be exactly like Ford would have done it.
I used new truck light lights that are exactly like the ones Ford uses because they make them lol. Used a harness from a pick up with cab lights and overhead console and it was pretty much plug and play other than the ground if I remember correctly.
I used two 8’ ladders and a plank so I could reach easily. Make sure after you drill to spray the raw steel so they don’t rust. Im
leak free for around four years now.
Here’s my pics a day late, but better late than never. Also, as the post above me mentioned, yes the spacing and angles are not exactly the same for each light, the outer ones are not in the same line as the middle 3.
Those look fantastic!!! Thank you so much for the pictures!!!
Is it just a relection or do you also have a light, lighting up your front license plate?
