thank you, I actually was able to check the tag and it is a 9” made in 64 with 3.89 gear ratio. The truck vin says it came with a different gear ratio so that’s why I was confused

If the rear end has been swapped then it's good he looked deeper, but stock rear brakes didn't vary depending on rear end type. F100 with 9", Dana 44 or Dana 60.2 or .3 all used the same rear brakes.
