fan clutch?- no clutch involved - fan bolts to front of water pump and is belt driven- truck is fine when driving, or sitting, but spills coolant after i turn it off- buying new cap this eve

truck runs cool when driving but gets hot sitting- boils over a couple of minutes after i shut it off
i did replace radiator cap with new 13 lb cap - no effect

just a note to close this out for the benefit of anyone else who runs into similar issue....
the culprit was the radiator cap- i had the old one, but bot a new one, just in case spring in cap had deteriorated- still had boilover after truck was turned off- turned out to be fitment issue on cap!!- new radiator probably should have come with new cap, because new stock replacement cap wasnt quite long enough to seat against top of radiator fill tube- i cut a thick gasket from some scrap neoprene and issue is gone
