Hello, need some help on decoding my 1951 F6 coe vin #

Thread moved to Large Truck. I am trying to research that VIN.

C6 = F6 COE

M = 254 6 cylinder

1 = 1951

H = Might be Highland Park Assembly Plant

51506 = Consecutive Unit Number

IF YOU DECIDE you'd rather be back in the '48-'56 forum where you posted a picture, let me know. Due to the age of these, that forum is sometimes better for older trucks.

Thank you 85e150 for decoding the vin#, These forum is good for this newb
once again thanks for your help. The truck does not have a Truck rating plate on it. The vin# come from the title. It currently has a 312 V8 engine in it. . .

Better a 312 than a Lincoln Y-block. I assume you aren't going to be putting this thing to work, so the 312 will be happy with light loads.

Check your wheels.
