Are you just playing the ham radio sound through the speaker on the radio? Can you hear it well enough? I currently have my FTM-400 mounted under the seat of my Wrangler and a cable going to the radio so I can listen to the ham radio through the Jeep's stereo. The nice thing about that seteup is it would play one channel through the left speakers and the other channel through the right speakers so you could monitor two at once. But I don't see any input like that on my new F250.
