Thanks guys. This truck has been such a work in progress, I've always tried to think long term when doing my modifications so I don't have to undo as much
I'm starting another little project to add to the many in progress.
I stopped by harbor freight and picked these up for $8
I switched out for 100W bulbs. I'm going to use the wiring I made for my 100W Hellas and the relays. I plan on wiring the reverse lights to them with a on/off/on switch I can control the reverse and aux. lights with a switch and the shifter.
What, 55W wasn't bright enough? Just kiddin' ya. I've been tossing around doing the same on my '04.
BTW, your Ranger looks real nice, you're doing some nice work.

Thanks
55W is plenty bright, but I don't use the Hellas anymore (getting an LED bar eventually) so I'm just making use of parts and wiring I already have.
This is what those lights look like as rock lights with 55W bulbs
The lens is actual glass, are you talking about melting the housing?
The plastic housings melt pretty easy.
I used them for back up lights on my old Ranger, left em' on for about a 1/2 hour while parked, and the tops of the housings slightly melted into the light.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to watch it then
The other day, I was at Tractor Supply, and saw a setup that mounted around your hitch receiver. I didn't buy it, I just didn't think it would look right on mine. The lights looked too close together.
On the rear bumper, there is a couple holes on the bottom edge, that seem to appear just right. Still kicking around putting something on there.
