You're installing it into an EEC-IV equipped pickup?

If so MSD Part 8874 is the plug and play way to do it. Google it, and the instructions will come up with wire colours, if you want to try and do it on your own.

Personally I see you gaining nothing while making your wallet lighter but to each his/her own.

So you can’t remove it and go back to the OEM system?

I have the Edelbrock 3881 intake manifold on my Bronco. The coil mounts in the same place as it did with the factory manifold: on the bracket that mounts over the left valve cover.

Are you in a roundabout way saying that you removed the EFI system? It would help if we knew what you are working on…

o im having trouble getting this thing started..

I have a spark, Timing is correct, the fan is turning over meaning the starter is working, im manually throwing gas into the carb, New coil, new ignition mod.

Im think a fuel pump issue but with the gas in the carb it should just roll over..

Any advice?

Thanks!

If you can't get it running, how do you know the timing is correct?
