There is no death wobble. I cannot even feel the wheel wobbling. my dad was following me and said my front pasenger wheel is wobbling and he said I'm not allowed to drive the truck until I get it fixed cause hes afraid its going to fall off or some ****. what do I gotta do to fix that
This is pretty basic. I suggest you do some reading on how stuff works etc so you don't get yourself in a pickel over some other issue.
First, chock the rear wheels both ways, then jack up the RF wheel--only as far as you need to allow it to turn freely. Give it a spin. Using a fixed object, check to see how far in wobbles or is out of round or whatever. Anything visible is unacceptable.
I'm pretty sure your going to see something. If you do, set it back down, loosen the lugs, jack it up and pull the wheel off. Again, using a fixed object, spin the brake disc and see if the disc wobbles or if the wheel mounting surface is wobbling. If this runs true but the wheel wobbled, you probably (90%+) have a bent wheel. You'll have to find a good one and replace it.
If the disc etc wobbles, then you have a bearing or spindle problem which will require some more advanced wrenching. Put it back together and drive it slow or have it towed to a trusted repair shop.
I dont have stock wheels. I have 37 inch tires and beedlock wheels and I'm workin on getting a pair of stock size wheels and tires back on unless I wanna go wheelin then ill put the 37s back on I hope its not a bent wheels cause they are expensive wheels but if i'm offroading i wont be goin too fast. Ill get my truck off the ground and see what the problem is. it did recently get rear ended pretty hard about a month ago. the guy behind me was goin 70 and i was goin 40 but that shouldnt have affected the front wheel. we were both speeding I saw and a cop and slammed on my brakes and he didnt see it maybe that has somethin to do with it
