What else to do while chaging oil cooler?

I am planning to do the oil cooler in my 2006 ford f350, trying to make sure I have everything here so I can take care of some minor leaks and make sure I don't need to get back in there for a while. I am still waiting on the tool to test for leaks before hand but better to be prepared, I live in a tiny town and practically have to order everything I need.

Is there anything I should be doing with the Turbo, rebuild or refurbish kits? Any additions would be greatly appreciated.

So far I have;
Oil cooler replacement w/gaskets/seal.
Dummy plugs and stand pipes
Injector external o ring kit
Nipple cup o rings
IPR seal kit
Valve cover upper and lower gaskets, grommets and breather seals.

You didn't say how many miles you have on it but I would consider replacing the STC fitting (if it's not the newer type) and cleaning the vanes and (or replacing) the unison ring in the turbocharger.
If you have an EGR cooler, I would replace it with the latest BPD unit.

I bought the truck June 4th, going by trust..... the motor, trans, rear axel only has about 150,000 KMS and the body 315k KMS, Also he TOLD me the delete was done and had receipts for everything but when I asked him for them after he said he cant find them. I wont know how it was deleted till I get in there but i'm guessing hillbillyish. I don't really know for sure but should be able to see a tube from the proper delete, correct?
STC fitting.. I just put in an order for """OEM Ford Updated STC HPOP Fitting for 04.5-10 6.0L Ford Powerstroke""
I noticed a lot of different kits for the turbo out there, do I need to pull it to find out what I have? Looks like they may differ in vane sizes?
I don't have a problem buying replacement parts and if just a cleaning is necessary doing that and boxing the spares up till I need them. I already started a box like that lol.

Also curious where you bought the kit. As an FYI - the 04.5 does not use that fitting.

I'm on my phone, would have to go on my computer to check where I put in the order but I just Google it.
should I cancel it? Hasn't been placed yet, no withdrawal from my account.

EDIT - As a rule, the reputable parts suppliers (like XDP) seem to have the OEM parts, but not always. They are in error (as are so MANY aftermarket parts places) when they post 04.5-10 for that part though. No consequence to you with an 06, but some people w/ 04.5 engines waste money that way. When it comes to HPOP parts, I like to get very picky.

Also, would anyone have a picture of what to look for in an egr delete.
was thinking I may want to order a proper one it the thing was welded or plugged and was a ****ty job or something. I'd hate to have it pulled and have to wait for parts.

Will I need to replaced the manifold gaskets as well?

It depends on where you ordered it from. As I (edited) posted above - I like to make sure I have the best available parts for the HPOP system. I would go with a known OEM supplier:

Okay thank you for the info,
I edited my post and lost the picture ¿
First diesel, but love to learn, and finding I have a lot of work ahead of me. I love it though.
My 1998 Ford F250 5.4, Ive had for 10 years racked up 460,000 KMS with very very minimal maintenance.

Just remember - when working on a 6.0L, there are MANY places that sell counterfeit parts that will make your life miserable ....

Also, for a few parts, the OEM ones aren't that great - you just need to know the details. The major 6.0L forums are a fantastic resource..

You would have a hard time finding EGR deletes unless the vendor didn't get the memo.
