So I priced a new bronco base with sasquatch package-- $38k--- so the odds of me getting one under 30k in 5 years is extremely good!-- (a used one) -- I just don't know if a) i will be blind and can't wheel B) Will want to give up my truck- and my exploder to make that happen (wifes deal) -- plus will I want to wheel something that expensive?
That sounds like a dang bargain compared to what we were looking at for a new Yukon Denali at the GMC dealer! Seriously though, I agree that they'll be really reasonable priced within 5 years. Just let them work through the first year bugs, sounds like there have been several issues with the hardtop already? I'm not sure that it should bother you much to wheel something that expensive, I'm sure you have quite a bit wrapped up in your explorer as it sits right now. A couple decades of wheeling knowledge are probably some assistance to you in keeping the Bronco in good shape too
I was gung-ho to get a Jeep JT when I handed off the TJ to Mason in about 5 or so years, but now I have the Mustang so that kinda fills in my "second vehicle" slot
Saw one up close at the dealership-- didn't look any bigger then the JK/JL-- had about the same wheelbase and interior room. I am curious how the IFS and iRS will hold up to wheeling.
