Steering Wheel !HELP!
I have a 1990 F150 XLT. It has the leather wrap steering wheel with cruise. My problem is the leather on the wheel itself is beyond shot. It peels away on your hands as you drive and sometimes leaves them black. I can not find one from a salvage yard in my area and don't want to pay a dealer $400 for one.
Does anyone know where I can get a good used one?
Also what other years will work for the 1990 AND any other makes of Ford vehicles that uses the same one.
Any help will be greatly apreciated.

Steering Wheel !HELP!
My 87 Bronco F/S uses the same wheel. Look on the web...there is a Bone yard out here that can ship they are Walt & Verns Located in Buckley Washington, They probably have what you need, and if they don't they can "flag" your name & # for when they get one. They do however tend to be a littly more pricy than the typical Bone yard. also I beleave that 1987-1991 are the same.

Steering Wheel !HELP!
I had the same problem with my steering wheel. Everywhere I went I got black junk on my hands. I picked up a very good one on e-bay for $26. The $400 sounds high to me. I priced one last year and I recall it being $230. I wish I could remember where I found it now. Frank is right- 87-91 were the same, and I guess pickups an fullsize Broncos had them- maybe vans too???
Good luck finding one. In the mean time, run to Wal-Mart and get one of those cheap steering wheel covers.
