Wiring Harness
Hey all, I'm having some trouble with the wiring in my 86 bronco. Guy we bought it from said it had the 351w in it, real nice motor when it will actually start up. Problem is, nothing happens when the key is turned, only way to start it is to jump the solenoid. Is there anywhere I could possible get some sort of aftermarket/stand alone wiring harness for it? Don't really have the time I would like to re wire the whole thing myself and whoever did the wiring before I got it really made the thing FUBAR. Any help is appreciated

If I'm not mistaken, there is a mechanical switch mounted on the steering column that is notorious for wearing out and causing no starter. It's easy to get and replace. Lots aftermarket suppliers. My first guess is the Neutral Safety Switch on the side of the transmission; follow the red/blue-stripe wire. There should be some other wires there, too, they're for the backup lights.
