The directions I have say to install a 0* bushing which I don't have, and put it on an alignment rack to get a baseline. If you look at the chart you can see these adjustable bushings can't be set to zero. Hopefully whoever I take it to will have a zero degree bushing or will be able to figure it out.

The problem is that I put them on to correct camber from a leveling kit. I decided I'm in over my head and went more towards having both until a computer can check it.

It looks like A is as close to zero as you can get. In the grey area A is on the bottom of all the options in every area of grey and each surrounding white area. A is ,25 degrees. I am curious about the directions, can you please post a pic of them.

The wording is for the alignment shop. The writer is assuming the shop has the zero degree bushings. I would think they should if they are a true alignment shop and have the proper equipment. I think I mentioned that I ended up getting mine done at an off-road shop. They do a lot of different alignments.

Desert Rat is my closest off-road shop. I asked the kid at the counter if I should put them in before I bring it for an alignment. He said yes because they would charge me $115/hr if they had to. I suspect he has no idea what he is talking about. I just went ahead and did it.

After going to three shops, I know what you mean. His reply was typical of the.stuff I heard. Makes no sense. If they say, and probably will, that they can't get your truck in specs., all they can do is get it as close as possible.

Thanks! Much better to drive now. Still a little boat like as it always will be. May do some poly sway bar bushings front and rear to firm it up at but but overall I’m very happy with the results. Seems like it needs the dual shocks in the front end. Still a bit bouncy with new shocks.

While changing the brakes I noticed the plastic piece below the spring has disintegrated. Do you think I should replace them? Seems like if as it cracks more it would effect my alignment. Wonder if anyone makes them.

That is called a coil spring insulator and I got mine from Amazon and they are made by Moog. Being that it is just an insulator for the spring I don't see how alignment could be affected. You mentioned your coil springs were bouncing a little and they might help that and reduce some noise.

Since your Coil springs are for a 4x4 that may be causing some of your issues?????

Happen to remember the part number on those?

Looks good. All 3 of my trucks were 2wd with single front shocks and the same springs. They never really seemed bouncy at least considering they are just an old twin I beam truck and not a Mustang. What shocks did you get? While I do not care for KYB gas adjust on our Mustangs, I do like them on our trucks and currently have them on my 94. I would really like to get Bilteins though.

I don't think the worn out insulators would cause an alignment issue, but I would probably replace them keep a smooth rattle free ride. I'm also interested in part numbers for replacements.
