With a little help from some friends, I think the "Preservation" system is working.
The Problem: Users who may have submitted their information months ago may not come back and notify us via the I'VE BEEN SCHEDULED - CONFIRMATION FORM that their truck is scheduled. This will lead to a build up of trucks which are actually scheduled, but do not show that on the spreadsheet.
The Solution: I will periodically purge the spreadsheet of anyone who had not "checked-in" and preserved their entry. I don't plan to do this often, perhaps every 30 - 60 days, but it is necessary for the continued functionality of the spreadsheet.
Here is how it works: Once your truck is on the spreadsheet, you will have a Green or Red box in the far left column. Red means that this entry will be purged in the next round. Green means that the entry will be preserved. All you need to do to preserve your entry is click complete this form below which only asks for your PIN Number (usually ZIP and Paint Code). There is also a link at the very top of the PRESERVED column in the spreadsheet. Once you submit that, your box will turn green, and your data will remain when the spreadsheet is purged again. After the purge, the column will reset to red, and the process will start again. There will be plenty of time to check-in, and I will post several notices in the thread letting you know when the purge will occur.
When: I would like to purge the unresponsive entries around October 1st, but it has taken longer to work out the bugs. I would like to tentative plan for that date, but it is subject to change.
Maybe they didn't schedule today, at least mine wasn't anyway. 6 months ago today I made my order.
So I called Ford Fleet and for the first time I got ahold of someone helpful, I almost hung up thinking I had the wrong number.
So he looked at a lot of data I didn't know existed and probably told me more than he was supposed to. he said my order is clean and no option on it are a problem to fulfil , chips are the ONLY hang up . the notes said a shipment of chips is due next week and if that goes as expected my order is in line to be scheduled in the next round of scheduling. I have a little more confidence since he didn't just pull stuff out of his butt as they usually do he read it off his screen as it appeared, or just tell me GFYS as I've come to expect. we shall see. .
Well, the dealer says mine is Unscheduled, Clean so parts are allegedly available (like your order). I'm not even hoping to be scheduled, just want to see more F450s scheduled and off the list. Otherwise who knows when/if mine'll happen.
They way they sort of put it to me was the shipment of chips coming in is large enough they're going to clean up the old orders they've been putting off . this is consistent to what they've been eluding to for several months now.
So I'm not sure how far they'll go or if the shipment will even arrive but his notes didn't indicate a problem so I'm hopeful. he did say I was the first good news he'd had on a super duty inquiry all day so I'm not sure how to read that, other than we're a long ways from back to normal.

I was reading a story yesterday where it said there were over 70 container ships waiting to off load in LA. Cant help but wonder if they hold parts bound for Ford.
Possible, but considering the amount of money it's costing Ford I would bet they would have a cargo plane sitting on the runway waiting for the shipment. I can't imagine they'd cheap out on shipping parts this small and light weight.
Well, you can remove me from the list. Ordered 7/20. After dropping AS it was 2 weeks without being picked up. I canceled the order and will wait until I can get what I want. About a week after canceling, I got the email that the truck was set for production in week of 10/18. I guess the dealer will be keeping the order for inventory. Maybe next year things will be better. Good luck to all!
