Since mine has more miles on it, I believe the engine has gotten louder due to bring broke in now. I definitely believe when truck was brand new, engine was quieter because she was tighter and brand new.

The part is a joke. I thought it was going to be made out of heavy duty rubber since the description of the part is "Genuine OEM Ford Side Seal" but it is literally just a foam replica.

I don't see how it will last but installed it anyway.
