I am sure it has been posted on here before, but i am not having luck finding the posts/threads.
I am starting to gather a list of what all i am going to get to build my 1991 F350 idi and can not find any solid advice or input on suspension components.
I am looking to go anywhere from 2-6" depending on how little i have to cut to make my wheel and tire set up, fit and preform.
these trucks are 30+ years old and the demand is not there anymore.
how high you want to go? what size tires you want ot run?
35's will fit under stock suspension with a bumper trim.
i had 40's under my 88 for years with a 4 inch lift.
it currently has 37's under it.

Exactly why I asked I about tires and front bumper.
80-86 flat bumper is out of the way, 87+ can take some work or an aftermarket bumper.
I'm on 37s with no lift and a tiny bit of the front fender trimmed to bumper height. No rubbing or bottoming out.
If just looking for a lift with a better than stock ride; A Skyjacker kit and a drop pinion arm and stuff whatever size tires under there you desire.
If looking for building a vehicle with better flex and off road capabilities; You start getting into shackle reversal, Superduty springs, shackle flip with alignment blocks, etc.
