Ordered some Mobil 1 75/90 synthetic gear oil for my F250 and just noticed the stuff I got is the LS version that is formulated to work with limited slips. Will this still be ok to use in my non limited slip front axle and the rear with the e-locker? Wish I would've caught that before I ordered it, but I didn't know they had two different versions.
Yes, it will be fine. It has a friction modifier in it that is needed for clutch packs but is of no consequence being in the gear oil where you don't have clutch packs.
It's fine, just realize that the actual spec is 75w85, and if you have the high capacity tow package it is 75w140.
Any reason why you can't run 75W140, other than maybe a minute loss of fuel economy? I remember my 2013 took 75W140 and I believe it had the same axle as my 2019.
I'm back to square one for axle lube. Apparently there was an issue with UPS and my order was undeliverable for some reason and I'm getting refunded so I'm just going to source the oil locally.

Well, I don't know how minute the fuel economy loss would be, but why not just pick up the 75w90 locally?
I've run 75w90 Mobil 1 LS lube in my current truck ever since the first change, and the truck has 600K on it now with no axle/gear issues.
