Thanks for having me aboard guys. I have drove Ford Super duty's since 1978. I've had gas, 460, V10's, 2 6.0 litre diesel, 1 6.4 diesel. 6.2 gas V8 & now back to a 2021 6.7 litre diesel. I managed to find a after several months a nice Ruby Red f350. Loaded XLT short box. 10 speed transmission, 355 limited slip rear end gearing.
My question is? Is this rear end a Dana axel or a different brand? I know it has a bigger housing than the f250 that I traded in.
Thanks for the info,
I like all the great information on this site.
P.s. wanted a godzilla but took the power stroke, I looked 4-5 months to find this truck. Got lucky.
Yes, after a little more research, I did verify that this truck carries a Dana M275. I wasn't sure because in a earlier post someone said you had to order a F350 with 430 gears to get this axel. I'm thinking now that they must have been talking about a gas powered truck.
So all is good.
