Question How do you kick back after work?

I was just wondering what yall do to kick back after you get off work.

Since I get off at about 11:30pm I go home. Flip on the tube, feed the dog, cook some dinner and maybe work on a hobby project if I'm motivated.

Depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Sometimes I'll have a beer, sometimes I'll have a few beers. Usually, I play with the dog. Since I work till 6 now, I find it hard to get in to the gym. I get home, do as stated above, have dinner, and by the time that's done, I like to spend time with the woman. No time for gym. When I got off at 4, it was no problem.

I usually take care of my son since my wife works later than I do. When he's asleep i'll play video games or come here to FTE til Jessie gets home.

Thumbs up Kicking Back

I know that I've taken a little diffrent approach to it. I get off at 7:00 am and I take a shower and go to bed. I usually get up around 2 or so then go out the the woodshop and piddle or wash the truck. Its also a good time to take care of the yard work.

We only have a couple hours a night to visit with each other because of our work schedules so every evening when I get home we sit on the porch and listen to music, talk, and have a beer or more. It doesn't matter how much work I bring home, we always take this time for "us". After he goes to bed (usually around 9pm), I do the work I brought home and catch up on what's going on with FTE.

Great thing about retirement, I kick back all the time. What do I do? Just about any thing (legal) I want to.

Since i'm a night owl, and have to be at work at 6am, I dont get much sleep. I get home around 3, and usually fall asleep. I know its not exciting, but it helps me catch up a little bit.

When I get home at 4 pm. I feed the cats, the geckos and, if I 'm motivated work on my hobby. After that I have a look at FTE. (I'm addicted to FTE)

Lately I`m tuning some neighborhood kid`s go-ped or go-kart.
Prefer to play with my `51 as I`m about 90% done with her.
Or piddle around in the shop(copper-work, stained glass).....
All this while sucking suds and smoking cigars.

Usually I take classes at night after work. On the nights I don't have class, I do homework. When I am not taking any classes, like right now, I tinker in the garage until bed time. If I am discouraged, I get on the computer.

After getting off work at my own business, I go home and take a nap so I can awaken to be my alter ego, the Wal-Mart night stocker! After I get off work there, I go home and get a nap to restart the next day at my business. (Kids are gone and Mom wants lots of toys!)

Get off work?? What's this mean exactly? It seems to be striking some distant chord of memory far back in the brain from my younger days, but not enough to have a full grasp. Thought we weren't allowed that as adults. I'VE BEEN SHAMMED!!!!

Seriously though, my work is what I do to relax, lol. Other than that, whatever particular Muse happens to have my attention when I'm not in the shop dictates what the activity will be. Whether it be playing guitar, working on vehicles, the computer, catching up with friends,,, You can never have too many hobbies, in my opinion. I am never bored, nor have I been for at least 15 years. When it's been under my control, of course. This doesn't apply to court appearances or other such ilk (appearances trying to get my clients to pay, not for my misconduct :P). I honestly don't have nearly enough time in my days to do all that I want. Not even half the time as I grow older and my interests become even more varied. There is one constant though,,, Music. I love having a soundtrack of my choosing for my life

I get home around 4 pm. I take care of my son till wife comes home. Eat dinner with family, watch nightly news, Then go to the gym for about two hours. I go home for more family time till bed at 10:30pm. Not very exciting, but I'm happy being a family man.
