Hey y’all. Recently put in 2011 door panels and rewired everything in my 2002. Made sure all switches worked in my driver side master control and they did.
got it all together and had blown the master 102 fuse when soldering wires together.
replaced the fuse and now all sore windows work great.
however power door locks are now not working. These work off the same fuse.
is it likely I blew a actuator? I checked the pink wire going to the switch which is alway power and there is no power there. I do t even hear the locks trying to work.
I am not familiar with the power door locks wiring scheme, but what about the possibility of the driver door being a master switch that the others run through or off of? A faulty switch or circuit here could remove all power and actuation from the other doors as well. Some power window switches and circuits work this way.
Also, sometimes the trigger leg of a circuit is the ground, not the positive. It is good that you have verified power, but what about ground verification when the switch is making/breaking contact?
I can pull the wiring diagram for the door locks if needed, just let me know.
