Edited to clarify that this data is for the 2022 MY trucks.
my 2020 F350 STX (manual adj seats) headrest is only up/down. i'm 6'3" and the headrest was always in a totally uncomfortable spot. i pulled it out and spun it around, much better. who actually drives with their head on the headrest????
My 2020 platinum has the tilting headrest. At 6’3” even in its most rearward position it was WAY too far forward. I pulled it out and bent the arms in a padded vice to make it suit me.
As they come from factory I have no idea how anyone can find them comfortable.
I’ve had to do this in every car/truck made in the last 5-10 years btw.
I believe 21 lariat built before 3-1-21 have an adjustable headrest I thought I read that somewhere. I remember being rather upset because mine was built 3-9. I ended up bending them and now way more comfortable.
