I'm pondering replacing a Piston in my 300 here shortly. While I have the head off, I figured it would be a perfect time to Recondition the head (if need be). BTW, the engine has 222k miles on it.
What's a "Ballpark" figure to have a machine shop recondition the head and do a basic valve job ??
I know the 300 head SUCKS as far as air flow goes, so I'm also pondering "Home Porting" the head.
How difficult of a process would it be to "Home Port" the head ??
