ok guys -- I feel REALLY stupid for asking but who else would know. First -- What is the difference in length between the short and long beds on an 82 F-series Truck ?
second -- is all the additional length ahead of the rear tires?
I know. goofy question but I didnt want to go measuring somebody elses truck for reference...

The regular cab F 150 came in 3 versions:
Styleside with interior bed length of 6 3/4 ft on 116.8 in. WB
Styleside with interior bed length of 8 ft on a 133 in WB
Flareside with interior bed length of 6 1/2 ft. on 116.8 in WB
Supercab had 2 version:
Styleside with bed length of 6 3/4 ft on 138.8 in WB
Styleside with 8 ft bed on 155 in. WB
Crew Cabs were all an 8 ft bed on a 168.4 WB.
Most of the difference in length (about 13 in.) was ahead of the rear wheels but the long bed was longer after the rear wheels by about 2 inches.
