got a question and I know this is very subjective and varies by state etc. But, thinking of selling my 2003 F150 supercrew 4x4. I bought the truck new in 2003, truck has spent the last 16 of its 18 years always in the garage. It has 97K on it and is in near mint condition, never in an accident, hell its only been in a ford dealer once for an abs sensor. Extremely clean truck, It has a 6" fabtech lift, 35s, forged wheels, leather interior, the list goes on. I also have all the original parts for it. Anything stock that came off this truck, i have. Regularly maintained. Just not sure what to start at on asking price. What do yall think would be a good place to start on price? I am in Texas, truck capital of the world. lol
Looks like 2003 F-150s in your area go for about $9000 with similar mileage. BUT, none can really compare to what you offer. Maybe start at $15000USD and see if you get any bites...
Depending on the lift part and engine size as some would not want the lift and others would only want a 4.6 or the 5.4.
Here in Florida where I am that truck would go for around $15,000 with the lift, but where you are I don't know. Here the trade-in value is close to $10,000 by the blue book.
With truck prices the way they are I would start around 15k. You can always negotiate down. Your best bet is to try and sell it yourself as the dealer won’t give you anywhere near what you want.
