Carburetor/transmission problem
So I was just curious because my carburetor blew the accelerator pump gasket and when I was pulling it up to park it it wasn’t shifting properly so I just wanted to make sure that this is happening because of the new vacuum leak and not because of a separate problem, the transmission is a c4 and hadn’t had any problems prior. The truck had been sitting for like two weeks before this happened. I’m also relatively new to older vehicles and would appreciate the help. Thank you

There is a vaccum line running to a vaccum modulator on the transmission that controls the shift points and is adjustable also there is a kickdown linkage that runs from the throttle linkage down to the side of the transmission both are necessary for proper shifting. If you already are aware of this please disregard.
