Does anyone know if it’s possible to program the sensors off a 2021 truck to a 2018? I bought some take offs and my shop wasn’t able to program them to my truck.
They said their main guy wasn’t there that does it so I got to take it back at the end of the week. If they can’t get them programmed their going to put my old ones in. Thx in advance!!
I am pretty sure you can still turn off tpms using forscan. I have it turned off in my 2012 and will be doing the same when my 2022 shows up. I sure as heck am not running full pressures in an empty F350 and looking at warning lights. Check the forscan posts, certainly someone knows for sure on the newer trucks.

There shouldn't be any programming needed, they should reset themselves after some time and a few restarts, so long as the tires have correct air pressure in them.

I’ve put about a hundred miles on it so far and it hasn’t reset.
