I have an 86 f150 with the 4.9l factory-installed AC, except when I got the truck the compressor and all the lines were missing. I ordered the new lines and compressor, but the compressor is missing both connecting manifolds needed to connect the lines to it. I found one available https://www.ebay.com/p/1365237839, but I can't seem to find the other. This is the compressor I have https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...B4ll%2Fmkwg%3D
any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
I had the same problem when getting the AC system together, I did not have any of the motor brackets for the compressor, so I went from the big square York to the FS6 like yours.
If I went with a new compressor it did not have the manifolds. Looking on Ebay I did find a set but was $200+ for both years ago.
My fix was to gamble and go with a junk yard compressor with the manifolds that my new hoses would then fit.
Worked great till 1 of the new O-rings leaked.
Fixed that and guess I forgot to tighten the fitting as it leaked out again.
Then just 2 days ago the compressor clutch magnet stopped working so that on order.
So you may want to try a junk yard compressor with manifolds. It was a lot cheaper than new with out the manifolds.
If you dont use the compressor you have it as a core to send when you get a new one.

So does it take two of the same part number? You need another one like you bought on ebay?
Edit; There may be a right and a left? Do the hoses have the same thread hook-up?
I dont remember now and to lazy to go look at my truck but I know 1 is marked with a "S" and the other with a "D" so that would be 2 different part numbers.

The manifold you linked is a "D" stamped discharge manifold and and is not complete as it requires a pop off valve. You should be able to easily find both you need cheap in a salvage yard. Hell, I have an extra set.
Very important also to know which hoses you have. There are two different sets. "With service valves" and "without". The "without service valves" suction and discharge hoses have an extra 90° ben each on the compressor end. The "with service valves" hoses have only one bend each on the compressor end.
Below, with and without service valves.
Without hoses
Your new discharge hose and accumulator will most likely have R-12 fittings. You'll need adapters if you are going to use R134a.
