I have a 2020 F250 7.3l gas with the 3.55 gears. I recently lifted it 6in and looking to add 37in tires. I do tow a boat and travel trailer and know that I can’t add 37s with the 3.55. I have been trying to find 4.30 gears and haven’t had any luck. The dealership has the part numbers I need but it doesn’t show any kind of stock for either front or rear. Has anyone with that engine had any luck re-gearing to 4.30.
Might be able to find aftermarket in the 4.56 - 4.88 area, which would work out good with those 37's. Don't know how easy it would be to program everything to get along though. As to the Ford 4.30's, I'm sure they're allocating almost all of them to new builds.
whats your question ? gather all the part numbers and google it yourself. alot of online oe dealers sell cheaper than brick and mortar stores anyways
I’ve tried that and the part numbers do t pull up anything. Dealership gave me the part number but it’s not showing up as a valid part number on their side either.
having ordered quit alot of oe parts for numerous vehicles, i go online and look at the parts diagrams myself without speaking to any dealers. this eliminates any errors or bad info they might have. 4.30 oe gears look to be readily available for the front and 10.5 rear. the dana rear isnt even shown so im guessing theyre not even offered for sale at this time. being a new axle and most people dont regear to a factory ratio, probly isnt much demand right now for a surplus of 4.30 gearsets
Maybe look for a wrecked Tremor 7.3 and get the axles, then sell yours? Will get a Dana M275 rear in the upgrade too.
I ordered my 7.3 with 4.30's and since ford seems to be delaying 2022 orders now I may have to compromise and find a 7.3 with 3.55 off the lot. Thats my plan too. Wait for a wrecked Tremor and just pull the axles.
Finding 4.30 gears for a Sterling 10.5 and a Super 60 is pretty easy and lots of aftermarket options.
I wish that it was as easy as that. I am assuming that the axles are the same as previous years but don't really know if that is the case. Have tried doing a search for my particular year and when I add the engine nothing shows up for it only the 6.7l.

Yes it's that easy. Both axles have a huge aftermarket. If you had the M275 rear then I would say the aftermarket is limited but you have the sterling so more options.
If you think finding gears is hard, try finding a new or used SD with 4.30 gears. I happened upon a ‘18 CCSB STX with the 6.2 on Friday and it was in my driveway Saturday. Won’t fit in the damn garage!
