DEF line leak

Noticed a salty deposit where the truck was parked for a week. Looks like my DEF line to the exhaust is seeping near the exhaust. Taking it in Monday.

2018 with 25,000 kms still under warranty.

Is something that anyone else has experienced? Kind of surprised.

interesting. The pump is suppose to pull the fluid back into the tank upon shutdown.

I have not heard of this issue from anyone.

There's about 18" where the line is covered in white crystals.

Not that common. Leaking at the injector. Surprised it didn't generate an error code. Guess there was still enough pressure not to.

I many be in a similar situation.
The DEF heater failed and was replaced at an independent garage that does a lot of fleet repairs on the 6.7. My vehicle is a 2016 F250 CrewCab with the 6.7.

Ford reimbursed me for the repair based on the extended warranty.
It has been about a year now and there is a DEF leak at the passenger side of the truck, leaking down on top of the right frame rail and suspension components.
Have an appointment to take it in for diagnosis at the same shop in 48 hours.

Will keep ya'll posted.
