I've got a leak coming from the fitting that leaves the transmission going to the cooler. I found that somehow the exhaust had come to rest on the line putting a constant inward pressure on the fitting and line. The leak is actually coming from in between the fitting that is part of the line and not from the fitting that goes in to the transmission.
I've pulled the fitting off numerous times and cannot get it to seal, anybody have any ideas??
Positive there is no hole where it was rubbing. Only leak is coming from the fittings. And I've been told from a ford mechanic that this line is obsolete. I don't even know where to get a new line.
