Good morning MN and Troy. Hope you had a great 4th. Camping was okay. 6/25-6/30 was hot (upper 80's) and muggy. A lot of bugs also at the site which was unusual because we have been going there a number of years and don't remember the bugs being bad. Anyways were had scheduled to leave the site on 6/30 to head to the next one but left the evening of 6/29 because of the bugs and humidity and went home to do laundry and try and get some better sleep. We went to our next campground on 6/30, it had cooled a little. Then the weather changed to rainy and very cool (upper 50's to low 60's). We were scheduled to leave that on on 7/5 but left 7/4 because our youngest had to be dropped off for camp on 7/4 and we didn't want to rush packing and trying to get ready for Tuesday.
We had a great weekend. Glad everyone else did too.
Hope you overall had a good time Jim. I hate bugs.
Overall it was fine. Played a lot of cribbage and some other card games. Only kayaked a couple times and fished a few times. Little bit of bike riding. Would have been nice to be a little more active
I was washing a trailer and rolled my foot on the hose at work and tumbled off of the ramp retaining wall down onto the asphalt. Shattered my humorous into a bunch of pieces. I managed to pick up my hat put it back on and then pick up the hose before going in to go to the hospital. There's a video on my Facebook page of the whole thing as it happened. Ended up having a 6-hour surgery with two plates and 24 screws and some wire.

Sorry to hear that, that sucks. Hopefully it heals correctly with no long term side effects. Speedy recovery with rehabilitation. I tore my bicep tendon back around the second week of February and had it operated on first of March. I was still able to snowmobile before surgery. Unfortunately when I ripped the tendon from the bone I also ripped some muscle from the tendon so now the left bicep is shorter than the right. Pretty uncommon for that and I was pretty disappointed as art of the reason for fixing it was to have it close to the same as before
