CP4
New to group. Has anyone had CP4 replaced at dealership? They are charging $10,200 without changing fuel lines and tank. Is this normal? Also charging $3700 because they broke a rail bolt and had to send to head shop.

The average price used in the multiple state class action lawsuits against Ford is 13,200 for the complete fuel system replacement. Ford also installs a new, defective out of the box CP4 designed for the "dirty" or higher lubricity european grades of diesel vs. the cleaner US diesel. Basically your installing a new time bomb. As of now Ford categorically denies responsibility and the repair is NOT a warranty covered issue. Kicker: GM and others also have the same issue, and lawsuits to boot. Ford is the longest running user of the CP4, using it since 2011, and has the most incidents of failure due to shear numbers of units.
