Window wash tank issue.

So I have a question? I seem to have a leak in the window wash system. Fill it up and two days later the low fluid light is on. What really irks me, is that I cannot see a leak under the front end anywhere.

Ideas please? 2018 F250 6.7 King Ranch.

The low fluid light might be on but is the fluid actually low? The sensor might be at fault.

Yes the fluid appears to be empty. I am running an experiment to see if I can trace a leak, so any pointers are appreciated. Thanks for the tip on the sensor.

Not seeing the leak is odd, as the tanks always seem to crack and everything just runs onto the ground.

Put red or blue food coloring in the tank of water. It should show up pretty easy after that.

Check your gill area by the front camera washer. Seen a few leaking from the check valve.

The only issue I have with the washer fluid tank, is that it will not take a full gallon of fluid when it gets low

Even my little-bitty Mazda 3 will take a full gallon...

I’ve had it where my front camera sprayer gets hooked on the grill and isn’t shut all the way and it drips out of it. I’d check there.

your fluid should already be blue or green, depending on the brand,................on a dry day it should be easy to find the leak
