2001 F-150 5.4 automatic.
I've owned and driven lots of F-series of this era and all of the gas powered automatics have an annoying programming where they don't provide any engine braking unless the revs are somewhat high. Let off the gas and it just keeps going because the IAC opens providing power instead of closing to provide braking. Is there an easy mod of some sort, other than disconnecting the IAC, to make it decelerate like most vehicles do?
I don't know if the manual trans trucks also do it, I've only driven one and it was a short test drive.
