Can a guy put taller tires on like 255/80-17's on a stockish rim without going to 20's or 22's? I think that would fill the wheel wells up and give it a lifted look as long as there is enough space between the duals....
Only 1 problem with the truck ive had since 2016 is I finally had the over head console fill with a little water after a wash, I never pressure washed the truck before but the one time I did I got some drips out of the upfitter switches. Im fairly confident its the cab lights as I dont have a sunroof, and it seems to be a common problem on the earlier trucks. Is there a aftermarket alternative or should I just get the updated parts from FORD.
Ill look into the pedla commander and idash soon, just did the SYNC 3.4 update hopefully it fixes a few of the bugs in my system, I was still running 2.0.
Im still up in the air on the upper fuel filter stuff, my warranty will expire in October of this year so fuel sytem repairs will be on me. I probably have a very aggressive maintainece schedule as far as oil and fuel filters so I dont really worry a whole lot about split filters or broken hoses, but its always in the back of my mind. I did buy the H&S filter kit but have yet to install. I need to service the truck this week before I tow the camper so Ill have a look at everything and see how everything looks, although I expect no srprises.
Thanks for the link Ill update my gaskets as well.
Thats all for now. Still thinking about wheels and tires too.
I put 255/80-17 on my 2018 work great but still leaves a lot of open wheel well.
I was hoping to be able to get a 265/65/17 on mine but I think theyll be too wide. What wheel is that you are running?
Also new Cab lights and hardware installed, no more leaks.

tire manufacture provide min and recommended rim sizes for their tires.
Has anyone gotten the pedal commander and wished they had the derringer right away? Im not really looking to add power but if the derringer is as good as the Banks web site makes it out to be I would buy the pedal monster/idash combo and add the derringer at a later date possibly.
I went with duraflap, they have the ribs on the tire side to channel the water down.
I wanted the King Ranch logo on them but King Ranch made them stop using it to advertise for them?
and yes I did the extra long so I have to be careful backing.
I know this is an old thread, but am curious where the original poster lives as I may be interested in the stock wheels if he decides to sell them.
Thanks.
