6.0 oil cooler replacement

I had the cooler replaced on my 05 F250 with 64k a few years ago, 40k miles and still looks good. Now my 03 Excursion needs a cooler at 88k. Is this a fix it once and done or will the coolers plug again? I'm looking at BP remote cooler with factory type cooler at $1700 and add the EGR cooler if this is a continual issue. I'm looking for advice. Local diesel shop wants $5k for the job complete.

you will still have oil cooler issues over the time without coolant maintanance/ coolant filter in every 6.0

I went the other way, BPD EGR cooler and new oil cooler from Ford (be careful for counterfeits). Several years now no issues still only a small difference between oil and coolant temps.
