Hello everyone I have a 1977 Ford F-250 custom with a 351M and I’m needing a oil pan it’s a front slump pan but I’m having issues finding one because the aftermarket ones all have the drain plug on the side which the front crossmember is in the way and the factory pans had a plug in the back so I’m curious if someone has one for sell or a place I can buy them thanks
Here’s a picture of what I’m talking about I had a aftermarket pan on there before and as you can see the drain plug is right next to the crossmember and i swapped that pan and put the factory one back on until I dropped the motor and crushed the damn pan
If you can't find one, alter the one you have by welding a thick piece of steel, where you need the drain to be. Then drill and tap a hole for the drain plug.
