By any chance, is this lift channel backwards? While I don't think so, I ask because I went for a drive today, with both windows down, and the rollers came out of both lift channels. The glasses slid down in the doors, but fortunately didn't break.
All four rollers are new repops. The lift channels and regulators are original, media blasted and painted.
I saw where Sickler1 had this same issue, but the final resolution, if any, wasn't posted. Any one else have this problem?
I think that looks right. Look in my build thread posts #37-44 and your exact answer is there.
I had the same thing happen and I really had to work to get the pins to lock in place. On one of the rollers I had bend the clip to make sure enough was exposed to grab the notch in the pin.
That isn't the same issue I'm having. In my case the rollers are staying on the regulator pins, but they are actually pulling out of the lift channels.
The replacement rollers are nylon, perhaps too flexible to hold? My old rollers were plastic and have completely fallen apart.
You can see the nylon "wheel" part is a smaller diameter than the dished metal washer. It may be to small to stay in the track.
