A PO of my truck deleted the EGR system, and I'm trying to restore it back to OEM function. Does anyone have a reference that I can look at to do this? Would it be in a Haynes manual perhaps?
EGR is pretty simple on that motor, the tube connects between the pass side exhaust manifold and the EGR valve that is mounted on the upper intake behind the TB. A vacuum line runs from there to the EVR solenoid right below the coil, and that solenoid gets manifold vacuum. There are also electrical connections at the EVR and the position sensor on top of the EGR valve.
