Is it me but the 2022 superdutys have some minimal colors options, hot red, atomic blue, white and black. Ordered a King in the nicer white, but would love a platinum silver or gray to replace my Bronze fire 2015.
That's a King Ranch problem because of the Stone Gray two-tone. You can move up to Platinum/Limited or down to Lariat to get Iconic Silver and Carbonized Gray.
My favorite color for SDs is/was Gem Effect Green. The reason I say is/was is because it is available as a fleet order color but not as a orderable color on any other model. I would have paid extra for the color.
I have a Gem Green ‘16 F-250 but had to choose a different color on my ‘22 F-350 Platinum, I went with Antimatter Blue. Seems Ford makes more refrigerator white trucks than anything. Not trying to be a color hater on anybody’s truck, that is why there is chocolate and vanilla, I am just a pistachio (green) guy.
I’d probably trade my blue 2020 in if I could get a Hunter or forest green. I have close to 2 years of warranty left. When the warranty runs out I’ll probably get another blue or black truck if green is not available.
Driven white Ford trucks since 1994. Need a change. Can't have black in Georgia because of pollen and heat. The others are just OK. Never had a red truck, so Rapid Red will be on what is probably my last truck.
Was disappointed they discontinued Magnetic gray. Carbonized gray doesn’t seem to have as much metallic flake from the photos I’ve seen, but is probably the closest color option. Atlas Blue is sharp but is a no go for the wife, so Carbonized gray it is!
I was crying when they dropped Silver Spruce.
I hardly ever saw any on the road, but sure did like the few I did see.
But, that's what happens to less popular colors.

Silver Spruce never had a chance to become popular. Vehicles with that color were delivered way late - I want to recall late 2020 or early 2021? I'm not sure why there was such a delay with that color.
I've never seen one in person, but I thought it would be an interesting color.
Ford has always used safe selling colors, but the early days were different.
Anyone remember “Violet” in 1999?
It was as purple as a Concord grape.. Actually looked good with a gray two tone..
Island Blue in 2000?
My Friend and I ordered 99’ trucks at the same time. 20 week wait time…ugg.
His was an Amber DRW… Hot as hell..
Mine was a Light Prairie Tan over black CCSRW.
……back when Ford offered the updated 7.3L with a “ground pounding” 500 lbs. of torque..

I ordered a 2002 F250 CCSB V10 Lariat in Island Blue and Silver 2 tone. Lover that truck. I was going to order a 2003 until I saw IB was discontinued and luckily got my order in during the last week of MY2002 orders.
